In August 2009 Rogério Dec was invited to make arrangement, orchestration and recording the soundtrack to the short film of Gabriel Nocera, produced entirely in computer graphics, named "the flower and the storm"

With the original piano music of songwriter Katia Sanábio, after 4 months of work and many revisions with the songwriter Katia and Director Gabriel, the final track of the film.

The film actually was built through the soundtrack and not the other way around as it usually happens, which is a big challenge.
